Apprentice Mechanic

Location: salt Lake City, UT

• Year-round FT+ work
• Hourly Pay: $20.00 DOE
• Benefits: employer paid medical, dental, vision and 401k
• Schedule: Swing shift - 2:00PM-10:30PM with some overtime
• Paid Weekly

Qualifications and Skills:

Seeking an apprentice that is motivated, organized and self-directed to perform complete repairs of gas & diesel engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, preventative maintenance and welding repairs. Potential growth opportunity to journey/lead role.

• Troubleshoot repairs on service/route vehicles
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with shop supervision and internal customers
• Own your own tools
• Familiar working on various vehicle makes and models including: International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Chevy and Ford trucks
• Seasonal overtime and weekend work may be required
